March, IBSA’s month dedicated to health and the management of osteoarticular conditions

March is the month that IBSA decided to dedicate to the management of osteoarticular conditions. All patients suffering from these disorders should rely on a skilled specialist. For this reason, the company launched its international training and high-specialisation programme, emphasising its commitment to the training of specialised orthopaedists, rheumatologists and physiotherapists.

This project aims to offer doctors from different countries a full immersion in the osteoarticular conditions, with a scientific and methodological approach designed to enhance daily clinical practice and promote the correct management of patients.

IBSA’S MEDICAL TRAINING IN THE OSTEOARTICULAR AREA

The events scheduled in March by IBSA aim to consolidate the multidisciplinary approach, a crucial aspect in the management of osteoarticular conditions, which – due to the progressive aging of the population – affect an ever-increasing number of patients.

Combining theoretical sessions (analysis of “real-world” clinical cases) with practical exercises, the international training and high-specialisation programme aims to improve the doctors’ skills also in terms of intra-articular infiltrative procedures with hyaluronic acid (HA).

Marco Falchetto, Therapeutic Area Manager at IBSA, thus summarises the value of the project: “We are convinced that this international programme – in which we plan to engage around 300 specialists in 2024 – can concretely improve therapy and patient management through training and the exchange of experiences.
